Home Loans is a privately owned mortgage originator retailing
its own brand of mortgage lending products. We also manage
the client’s loan post settlement and offer on-going
support and advice to those who require assistance.
Onyx has a strong focus on service. The principals of
the company came into finance from industries requiring
high precision and have carried forward this precision
approach into Onyx. Instead of being a ‘jack of
all trades’ claiming to know every lender’s
product, the Onyx focus is on a deep understanding of
how to structure our feature rich products to suit your
needs.
Onyx has Advisors in four states – Victoria, NSW,
Queensland and South Australia.

Greg Clough
Sales, Distribution, and Relationship Management
Greg's career of 30 years has been the business of communication
and vision. From a start as a young apprentice at a printing
press Greg applied his business and communication skills
to become Managing Director of a large printing company.
His vision led him to exporting high quality printing
to the USA.
As communication technology developed Greg established
companies that offered a broad range of marketing and
communication services. This has enabled him to develop
a wide range of business relationships.
His marketing business exposed him to the finance industry
and he soon identified a market need for finance services
focused on quality service and quality relationship management
- and so Onyx was born.
Neil Clough
Loan Administration, and Finance
With qualifications in both accounting and business administration
Neil brings over 30 years business experience in finance
and information technology to loan administration at Onyx.
From his early career working on systems for large computer
firms, to financial management in the software industry,
to running his own software development company, Neil
has developed a passion for applying a systematic approach
to finance and administration.
Paul Thewlis
Marketing, Development, and Client Service
Paul has over 17 years business experience, having established
and operated businesses in the financial services and
information technology industries. Paul has also held
corporate positions in marketing and professional services.
Paul's earlier academic career as a research scientist
leads him to focus on thorough research of client needs
so that Onyx can develop specific products and services
to assist our clients.
